SYNOPSIS
This project involved creating a wedding brochure using Adobe InDesign, with the goal of designing a visually appealing and informative program for a fictional wedding. The brochure was required to include key details such as the ceremony schedule, location, and wedding party. I aimed to convey a soft, romantic atmosphere through my design choices, using a calming blue color palette and delicate floral clip art elements. The layout was carefully organized to ensure readability while maintaining an elegant and cohesive aesthetic. This project helped me apply design principles like alignment, balance, and typography to create a polished and visually engaging piece.
Outer Layout
To maintain an elegant and romantic aesthetic, I selected a refined serif font and incorporated delicate flower decals throughout the design. I chose an image of a joyful couple from Unsplash that captured the warmth and emotion of a wedding day, helping to set the tone for the brochure. To frame the image and content, I added an elegant border that further enhanced the sophisticated look. These elements worked together to create a cohesive, visually pleasing layout that reflected the formal yet heartfelt nature of the event
Inner Layout
For the interior of the wedding brochure, I maintained a clean and organized layout by keeping all elements properly aligned. To enhance visual harmony, I mirrored the floral decals in each corner, creating a balanced and elegant look. I continued using the same serif font and soft color palette from the cover to ensure consistency across the entire design. These choices helped tie together the schedule of events and the wedding party section, making the information easy to follow while preserving the romantic and sophisticated aesthetic of the overall piece.
