PROJECT: CorePixel Designs
Class: Fundamentals of Digital Design
Media Used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate
Created 2024
SYNOPSIS
This project involved creating a complete brand identity for a fictional company called CorePixel Designs, which later evolved into PixelFlow Digital. As part of the assignment, I designed a logo, a professional letterhead, and a business card to represent the company. CorePixel Designs is a graphic design agency that focuses on creating visually compelling and modern design solutions for clients. The goal was to establish a cohesive and professional brand image that reflects the company’s creativity and technical skill. Throughout the process, I aimed for a clean, minimalistic aesthetic using geometric shapes to communicate the brand’s digital focus and innovative spirit.
PROCESS
First Draft
I had a clear vision from the start for this logo design. I wanted to feature a brightly colored star placed between two brackets, symbolizing code and creativity. The star represents standout talent or a central idea, while the brackets nod to programming and structure. I began by quickly sketching the concept in Procreate to explore layout and color. Once I was happy with the initial direction, I brought the design into Adobe Illustrator.
FINAL LOGO

Complete Kit
To complement the logo I created, I designed a matching business card and letterhead as part of a cohesive brand identity. I carried over the main color, teal, and incorporated pink accents to reflect the colors of the central star in the logo. These choices helped maintain consistency while adding visual interest. For the business card, I opted for a vertical layout to give it a more modern and distinctive feel. The overall design aimed to be clean, bold, and professional, while still reflecting the creative and tech-forward personality of the brand.
